We understand that making a Will, preparing a Lasting Power of Attorney or applying for Probate on the death of a loved one are sensitive issues. For this reason we take a professional yet personal approach to these matters.
HOW WE CAN HELP…
The death of a loved one can often be a fraught time for a family. It is often helpful to have independent and impartial advice and assistance when dealing with their assets and finances. Patrick Lawrence Partnership can assist you with any issues that may arise in enacting a loved one's will or dividing their assets, otherwise known as probate.
This can include:
Preparation of the estate account
Preparation of the oath for executors or administrators
Inheritance tax forms
Any other issues you may have
Our aim is to make your experience as quick and easy as possible.
You can choose the best way to carry out your case: either by phone, email and post or, if you would prefer, face-to-face contact with your solicitor, you are always welcome to make an appointment at one of our offices. In addition, for clients who may not be in a position to travel to us, we are happy to arrange to see you at home, in hospital, care homes or hospices.
We charge a fixed fee for the creation of a will which includes advice, preparation of a draft, preparation of the final product and storage, if you wish. Additionally we offer a discount for existing or previous clients.
We can prepare lasting powers of attorney giving you the comfort of knowing that you have given your loved ones the power to help you in the future should you need it, to deal with any of your financial or welfare matters. We offer an initial consultation to discuss your needs for a fixed fee of £125 (ex. VAT). We can then provide you with a questionnaire to complete and return so that we can prepare the court forms for signature.
Please let us know when booking the appointment if you would like to see us in our wheelchair accessible meeting room.
